Volunteer Onboarding Process
The selection and placement of volunteers is determined by the needs of the facility, available resources, and the qualifications and availability of volunteers.
We aim to match volunteer skills and interests with available volunteer opportunities and strive to provide the most satisfying experience for everyone.
How does someone become a volunteer?
Step 1: Complete an application form, including 2 reference letters. You will receive notification that your application has been received.
Step 2: Applicants will be interviewed to discuss areas of interest, accomplishments and availability.
Step 3: All selected volunteers will receive orientation and training.
Please Note: A criminal reference check is required. You will be instructed how to obtain this during the process.
Please note: Proof of immunization for certain communicable diseases will be required to volunteer in programs that have direct patient contact. This will be discussed in more detail during the volunteer interview.
