Join Horizon in Fredericton to discuss the overall patient experience
CANCELLED
(FREDERICTON) March 16, 2016 - Patients and families in Fredericton and the surrounding areas are invited to provide input into how Horizon can improve the overall patient experience within its facilities.
A public discussion will take place at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in the Cornish Rooms on Sunday, March 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Participants are asked to register by calling 1-844-545-4288.
This session marks the last of five public sessions designed to provide patients and their family members with an opportunity to share their ideas directly with Horizon. A series of six sessions gathering input from within Horizon will also wrap-up this week. The information gathered from all 11 sessions will be aligned into themes and used to help Horizon plan for the future.
The sessions represent Horizon's commitment to working with patients, families and staff members to create and sustain an exceptional patient and family centred care environment in all of our facilities.
Horizon's Patient Experience Advisors also play an important role in bringing forward ideas to improve the way we deliver health care services. We are currently seeking volunteers who have had a recent experience in one of our facilities to influence positive change within the organization. If you are interested, please contact pfcc-sapf@horizonnb.ca for an application and brochure. Or call your local area Volunteer Resources Department: Saint John 648-6523; Fredericton 452-5322; Upper River Valley 375-2541; Moncton 857-5433; Miramichi 623-3190.
