N.B. Doctors Cycling Against Cancer announce fundraising goal

(Moncton) May 17, 2017 - The third annual N.B. Doctors Cycling Against Cancer fundraiser has set an ambitious goal of $55,000.  From June 19 - June 23 the physician-led team of cyclists will ride 500 kilometers throughout the province to raise funds for Horizon Health Network's Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic at The Moncton Hospital (TMH).

The outpouring of support from patients, donors, and the community has inspired the cyclists to continue this event in hopes of improving the lives of their patients. The cycle truly exemplifies Horizon's mission of helping people be healthy.

This year, donations will be used to purchase blood pressure monitors and a unit of leading-edge equipment that will enable early detection of cancer in the lymph nodes of breast cancer patients.

Donations can be made online at , by mail to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (135 MacBeath Ave., Moncton, NB, E1C 6Z8), in person at the Friend's Kiosk located in the main lobby at TMH, or by calling 506-857-5488.
