(Fredericton) April 23, 2019 - Effective April 29, Horizon Health Network's Gibson Health Centre in Fredericton will no longer operate out of its current location. Unfortunately, we are required to relocate sooner than planned.

There will be a short disruption to patient care as the health centre relocates to 460 Two Nations Crossing, also on Fredericton's Northside. The health centre will be closed on April 29, 30 and May 1 to accommodate the move, and will reopen in the new location on May 2.

We are working with our patients to ensure they get the care they need during our closure. Patients can schedule an appointment by calling the health centre at 506-447-4444. Additionally, patients can call Tele-Care 811 toll-free for health advice or information, 24 hours a day.

While this situation is not ideal for our patients, clients or staff, we can assure you that Horizon is acting quickly to relocate all health services to this temporary location.

With the increase in services offered at the Gibson Health Centre, Horizon completed a space programming initiative, which resulted in securing a new location with more appropriate space. We are in the planning and design process for this permanent location and it is expected to open this fall. We will operate out of this temporary space until our new location is complete.
