(Moncton) June 3, 2019 - The detoxification unit of Horizon Health Network's Addictions and Mental Health facility on Mapleton Road in Moncton will re-open on Monday, June 10, 2019.

The 20 bed facility was temporarily closed to new admissions since March 11, 2019 to undergo renovations to improve air quality and overall patient care. During the closure an alternate location was made available at Horizon's The Moncton Hospital and referrals to other Detox centers in Miramichi, Saint John and Fredericton provided services as requested.

Opiate Replacement Services also underwent renovations during this time however services remained on site during the construction period.
