PSA: Public asked to limit use of Emergency Departments at two Horizon hospitals
(FREDERICTON) February 26, 2020 - Horizon is asking the public to limit the use of the Emergency Departments at two of its hospitals to those with severe symptoms.
Horizon's Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and Oromocto Public Hospital are currently overcapacity, and patients and clients may experience long wait times if they present to the Emergency Department at either hospital.
We encourage you to visit www.SoWhyWait.ca for more information about other health care options.
Please reserve the use of the Emergency Department for emergencies only.
