The inpatient admission unit at the Sackville Hospital has been reopened to visitors
(Horizon) February 27, 2015 -
The inpatient unit at the Sackville Hospital reopened yesterday. On
February 23, due to a number of patients who became ill with
vomiting and diarrhea, the Sackville Hospital's inpatient unit
was temporarily closed to new admissions. There are four
patients who continue to have symptoms. These patients will
remain isolated, until they are free of symptoms for 48
hours.
While visitor and admission restrictions have been lifted, all
staff, patients, and visitors should adhere to good hand hygiene
and isolation precautions as required.
