(MONCTON) June 22, 2018 - On behalf of Horizon Health Network and the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, members of the media are invited to attend the launch of the fourth annual N.B. Doctors Cycling Against Cancer.

                         90 Arden Street, Moncton, NB

Join us as our physician-led team of cyclists begin their five-day, 500 km cycle across the province to raise funds to improve patient care at Horizon's Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic.

The launch ceremony will include remarks from Dr Mohammed Harb, Medical Oncologist, The Moncton Hospital; Dr. Serge Melanson, Chief of Staff, The Moncton Hospital; Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold; Pat Armour, First Vice Chair, Friends of The Moncton Hospital Board; and a patient testimonial from Laura Small.

Speakers will be available for media interviews following the speeches. Cyclists will depart from Horizon's Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic at 9:00 a.m, making their first stop at Horizon's Sackville Memorial Hospital around noon. They will finish day one at Kouchibouguac National Park.

The launch and cycle will take place rain or shine.
